On the morning of June 19, the launching ceremony of the Shandong Port Group Cup Fairy Coast Peninsula City Regatta 2023 was held in the container tribe of Qingdao Cruise Home Port.

From June 19 to July 5, the Rally will pass through Qingdao, Weifang, Yantai, Weihai, Rizhao and other cities in Jiaodong economic circle. The total voyage of the Rally is about 840 nautical miles. In order to let citizens understand the sailing culture, open days and performance races will be held in Qingdao, Weifang, Yantai and other ports of call, inviting the public, media and families of port workers to visit the sailboats.

The event aims to build Qingdao’s own brand event IP, builds a new platform for sports, humanities, economic and trade exchanges between cities on the Shandong Peninsula, and achieves the “three promotions” of promoting and popularizing sailing, sharing the cultural and tourism resources of coastal cities in Shandong, and boosting the integrated development of the Jiaodong Economic Circle with sports energy.
