On April 9th, Heze Peony International Communication Forum was held in Heze City, Shandong Province, hosted by the Propaganda Department of the CPC Shandong Provincial Committee and the China Foreign Language and Culture Bureau, and organized by the Propaganda Department of the CPC Heze Municipal Committee and the Cultural Communication Center of the China Foreign Language and Culture Bureau.

Several leaders and guests at the forum delivered speeches and keynote speeches on the spot or online, saying that peony is widely loved by the public and has a beautiful meaning. It is an important symbol of Chinese civilization and a vivid footnote to the exchange and integration of Chinese and foreign cultures, hoping to promote more exchanges and cooperation among countries through the forum.

In order to effectively promote the international dissemination of Heze Peony Culture, the Cultural Center of the China Foreign Language and Culture Bureau, the Propaganda Department of the Heze Municipal Committee, and Heze University jointly established the "Cultural Communication Innovation Cooperation Base · Peony Culture International Communication Center", and held a signing and unveiling ceremony at the forum.

The forum also issued an initiative on the construction of overseas peony gardens, willing to adhere to the principles of joint consultation, construction, and sharing while respecting national sovereignty, cultural differences, and practical national conditions, actively promote contact and docking with relevant countries, jointly build peony gardens, promote economic and trade prosperity, and share development achievements.

The elegant peonies are the most representative city card of Heze, the capital of peonies in China, and also a highly distinctive cultural symbol for external dissemination with Chinese characteristics. At this forum, more than 300 Chinese and foreign guests gathered in Heze, using flowers as a medium to meet friends, to explore the international dissemination of peonies as Chinese cultural symbols, focusing on the theme of creating Chinese cultural symbol and telling the world the story of Heze peonies.
