From March 26 to 27, 2023 Shandong Tourism Development Conference will be held in Qingdao.

This year’s conference will focus on the new achievements of Shandong culture and tourism, expand the cultural tourism investment, promote domestic and foreign exchanges and mutual understanding, stimulate market vitality, cultivate industrial development momentum, and show the new image of Shandong to the world.

The conference’s logo design takes the abstract line of the city landmark “May wind” as the base, supplemented by the extended streamline symbolizing the ocean as the main body, showing the city image of Qingdao with blue sky and clear sea, green mountains and rivers, as well as the profound heritage of Yellow River culture and red roots.

The prototype of the mascot “Happy” is a small water droplet splashed by the waves in the ocean, signifying the infinite vitality of the revival of the cultural tourism industry and reflecting the international, fashionable and youthful tourism image of Qingdao.
